The annual Bristol Fashion Week took an unconventional turn at JAF Services Ltd., a Dyno franchise, where the team chose to celebrate the event with a twist. Instead of showcasing high-end fashion, the office team, led by Suzi Drew, Quality Development Manager, decided to don a different style outfit each day of the week. This creative approach aimed to raise funds for St. Peter’s Hospice, Bristol’s only adult hospice, and resulted in a remarkable £120 donation.
A Week of Whimsical Fashion
The team’s fashion journey began on Monday with a “mismatched day,” where the more clashing items, the better. Thursday was dedicated to punk-inspired clothing, complete with safety pins and skulls, transforming the office into a vibrant and eclectic space. This fun and lighthearted approach to fundraising not only brought the team together but also contributed to a worthy cause.
A Charity Close to Their Hearts
St. Peter’s Hospice provides care for individuals with life-limiting illnesses, and the team at Dyno was eager to support this vital service. Andrew Findlay, Managing Director, expressed the team’s enthusiasm for the fundraising event, stating, “We wanted to do something fun in our offices last week to raise money for St Peter’s Hospice – and we thought a Dyno fashion show would be ideal!” Edd Smith, corporate fundraiser at St. Peter’s Hospice, praised the team’s efforts, saying, “What a fantastic and fun way for Dyno to raise money for St Peter’s Hospice… We are very grateful to Dyno for their donation.”
