Australian-born Mexican food franchise Zambrero is accelerating its UK growth strategy with plans for a significant expansion across the South West, targeting at least nine new restaurant openings over the next three years.
The fast-growing quick-service brand is focusing its rollout on key locations including Bristol, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. The new sites are expected to be positioned in high-footfall areas such as busy town centres, shopping destinations and roadside locations.
The expansion is forecast to create around 135 jobs, spanning both full-time and part-time roles, providing a boost to local employment across the region.
Founded in Australia, Zambrero has grown to a global network of more than 350 restaurants. The brand offers a menu of Mexican-inspired favourites including burritos, bowls, tacos, nachos and quesadillas, and has been steadily building its presence in the UK market.
The South West pipeline forms part of a broader national rollout, with the Zambrero franchise development team also tasked with delivering at least 12 additional openings across the West Midlands within the same timeframe.
With a clear focus on strategic locations and scalable franchise partnerships, Zambrero’s latest plans underline its ambition to become a major player in the UK’s fast-casual dining sector.
