Ovenclean Steps Up (and Out!) for Breast Cancer Now

Supporting a Vital Cause: Ovenclean’s Efforts for Breast Cancer Now

The Ovenclean team has joined forces with its sister brands, ChipsAway and Barking Mad, to participate in Breast Cancer Now’s annual “Wear it Pink” day. This initiative aims to raise crucial funds and awareness for life-saving breast cancer research. By coming together, the team has demonstrated its commitment to supporting a cause that affects many lives.

A Personal Connection to the Cause

This year’s campaign holds special significance for the Ovenclean team, as one of their colleagues, Amy, was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier in the year. Her courage and determination have inspired the team to show their support and solidarity. As Rebecca de Chair, Group Marketing Manager – B2C Division, noted, “Amy’s courage has inspired us all.” The team’s efforts are a testament to the impact that personal connections can have on motivating people to take action.

Raising Awareness and Funds

The Ovenclean team has been actively involved in various activities to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Now. From wearing pink t-shirts to hosting bake sales, the team has shown its creativity and dedication to the cause. Many colleagues have also participated in the “100 Miles in October” challenge, walking, running, and cycling to raise more money and awareness. According to Breast Cancer Now, every mile completed brings us closer to a future where everyone diagnosed with breast cancer can live and live well.

Making a Difference Together

The Ovenclean team’s efforts have made a significant impact, and they are grateful for the support they have received. As Rebecca de Chair expressed, “Taking part in both ‘Wear it Pink’ and the ‘100 Miles in October’ challenge has given everyone across our brands the chance to come together – to do something positive and meaningful in support of Amy and this incredible charity.” The team’s actions demonstrate the power of collective action in making a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
