Celebrating Community Spirit: Lucy from Lingotot Darlington’s 4th Year in the Christmas Tree Trail
As the festive season approaches, Darlington is once again filled with joy and cheer, and Lucy from Lingotot Darlington is proud to be a part of it. For the fourth consecutive year, she is participating in Darlington Council’s Christmas tree trail, a beloved tradition that brings the community together. This year, local schools, nurseries, and child-related businesses have partnered with various locations around town to create a festive atmosphere, with Lucy’s Lingotot Darlington being one of them.
A Collaborative Effort to Spread Festive Cheer
The Christmas tree trail is a collaborative effort between Darlington Borough Council (DBC) and local businesses. While DBC provides the trees, participants are responsible for decorating and dressing them up. This year, Lingotot Darlington is located in Barrhead Travel, Cornmill centre, and the theme is gingerbread. Children have the opportunity to create something to add to the main tree, making it a fun and interactive experience for all involved.
The primary goal of the Christmas tree trail is to connect with other local businesses and spread festive cheer throughout the community. By working together, participants aim to create a joyful atmosphere that brings people together. With many free and fun events planned, children can enjoy searching for the trees around town, and a list of participants and locations is available from DBC for those who want to join in on the fun.
A Time for Community and Celebration
The Christmas tree trail is a wonderful example of community spirit and collaboration. By partnering with local businesses and organizations, Darlington Council is able to create a festive atmosphere that benefits everyone involved. Lucy from Lingotot Darlington is thrilled to be a part of this tradition and is looking forward to another successful year of spreading joy and cheer throughout the community.
