Celebrating a Century of Life: Eileen’s 100th Birthday
Here at Promedica24, we are thrilled to have been a part of a remarkable milestone – the 100th birthday of our beloved client, Eileen. This extraordinary occasion was marked with love, care, and celebration, and we are honored to have shared it with her and her family.
Eileen’s special day began with the assistance of her live-in Care Workers, who ensured she was dressed to perfection. Despite the challenges posed by lockdown rules, she was even able to have her hair cut and styled by a mobile hairdresser, adding a touch of glamour to her celebrations. When asked about the upcoming occasion, Eileen hinted at the excitement to come, saying, “something big is coming up, I do believe.”
As the day unfolded, Eileen received a card from HRH the Queen, a thoughtful gesture that brought immense joy to her and her family. She was also treated to flowers and cake, courtesy of Promedica24, which allowed her to start her celebrations a day early. The care team and family were delighted to share this momentous occasion with her, especially during these unique times.
Over a cup of tea and a slice of cake, Eileen expressed her gratitude to the care team for the lovely cake and beautiful flower arrangement. She spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and reminiscing with her family, sharing stories of her life and the many changes she has witnessed in the UK over the years. When asked for her secret to a long and happy life, Eileen offered words of wisdom: “be good, be kind and true – every evening I would kick off my shoes and enjoy a glass of wine.”
