ChipsAway Goes the Extra Mile for Breast Cancer Now

ChipsAway’s Inspirational Efforts to Support Breast Cancer Now

The ChipsAway team has joined forces with its sister brands, Ovenclean and Barking Mad, to participate in Breast Cancer Now’s annual “Wear it Pink” day, raising vital funds and awareness for life-saving breast cancer research. This year’s campaign holds a special significance for the team, as they rally behind their colleague Amy, who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.

Amy’s strength, optimism, and determination have inspired the entire Franchise Brands B2C family to come together and show their support in every way possible. The team’s efforts are a testament to the impact that a strong support system can have on individuals affected by breast cancer. According to Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, having a support network can significantly improve the quality of life for those diagnosed with the disease.

A Cause Close to Their Hearts

The ChipsAway network has gone all-out in pink, with branded t-shirts, bake sales, and plenty of good cheer, all in an effort to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Now. Every bit of effort counts, and the team’s dedication is a shining example of the impact that collective action can have on a cause.

Pink and Positive

From the head office team to franchisees across the country, the ChipsAway network has come together to show their support for Amy and Breast Cancer Now. The team’s efforts are not only raising vital funds but also helping to raise awareness about the importance of breast cancer research and support. As Rebecca de Chair, Group Marketing Manager – B2C Division, notes, “Amy’s courage has inspired us all, and taking part in both ‘Wear it Pink’ and the ‘100 Miles in October’ challenge has given everyone across the brands the chance to come together – to do something active, positive, and meaningful to support Amy and this incredible charity.”

Many of the ChipsAway colleagues are also taking on Breast Cancer Now’s “100 Miles in October” challenge, walking, running, and cycling to raise even more for the cause. Amy herself is also joining in, showing incredible spirit and determination to tackle the disease head-on.

Supporting a Great Cause

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who has donated so far, joined in, or cheered the team along the way. Together, they’re helping to make a difference – for Amy and for everyone affected by breast cancer. There’s still time to support the cause; simply click here for the Just Giving page.
