A Musical Year to Remember: New Business Owners Join the Rhythm Time Family
We introduced three wonderful new business owners across the Midlands in 2025 – Carolyn Lawford, Jhodi Kennard, and Zara Frankton. Carolyn is running classes in South West Birmingham, bringing her professional music experience and strong background in SEND support to ensure every child feels included and confident. Zara brings huge musical energy to classes across Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Kenilworth, helping children express themselves and grow through music. Jhodi leads a buzzing musical community in Solihull, sharing her joy with others after first joining as a new mum in 2014.
They’re all loving being part of the Rhythm Time story and are looking forward to growing their businesses in the year ahead. Their passion and dedication are a testament to the impact of Rhythm Time’s music classes on families across the UK. With a focus on quality, community, and helping little ones learn and thrive through music, our new business owners are set to make a lasting difference in their respective areas.
Celebrating Anneka’s National Recognition
We’re thrilled to share that Anneka Hurst, Business Owner of Rhythm Time Coventry, Rugby, and West Northants, has been selected as one of the Top 10 Finalists for Outstanding Newcomer in the What’s On 4 Kids National Children’s Activities Awards 2025 — an incredible accomplishment. Anneka took over the franchise in July 2023 and has achieved remarkable growth and impact in a short space of time, increasing the number of children attending classes by over 90% within just three months.
Her leadership has seen the business expand to around 21 weekly classes, serving more than 260 families, with sold-out events, growing waiting lists, and classes now running across the area. Her customer feedback is outstanding too, with high recommendations and 100% five-star reviews. Anneka’s passion also shines through in her partnerships, community outreach, and extensive charity support — all while delivering the developmental benefits of our music classes to even more babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers.
