Craig Keeps Calm Under Pressure, Beats Hundreds of Technicians
Our local technician, Craig, from Milton Keynes, has once again demonstrated his exceptional skills by winning the prestigious Autogem’s Under Pressure ’23 TPMS competition. This achievement marks his second consecutive win, solidifying his position as a leading expert in the field. The competition, held at the Pirelli Performance Centre (PPC) in Burton-upon-Trent, saw Craig excel in diagnosing and resolving issues, as well as communicating clearly throughout the challenge.
Autogem’s Under Pressure ’23 Competition
Autogem’s Under Pressure ’23 is the industry’s only dedicated campaign to celebrate excellence in TPMS customer engagement and technical resolution. The competition aims to position TPMS technology as a standalone category, on par with other essential aspects of motoring care, such as brakes, batteries, and tyres. By winning the small-retailer category, Craig has proven his exceptional expertise, beating hundreds of other talented tyre technicians across the UK.
A judging panel consisting of renowned motoring journalist Rob Marshall, Tyres & Accessories editor Chris Anthony, and Autotech Training’s Head of Operations Alistair McCrindle observed and questioned Craig as he tended to a specially prepared car with hidden TPMS issues and faults. Craig’s performance was evaluated on all aspects, demonstrating his ability to work under pressure and provide clear, effective solutions.

He won last year’s competition, and it was great to see him qualify and defend his title again this time around against some new faces in a new format event.
