Introduction to Nived’s Kumon Journey
Nived’s mother, Aiswarya, was keen to provide her child with a solid educational foundation from a young age. She discovered the Kumon Ipswich Central Study Centre on her way to work and, after consulting with friends whose children were already enrolled in the Kumon Maths Programme, she contacted Instructor Sangeeta to learn more. Aiswarya was delighted to find that the centre welcomed children as young as three, and Nived soon joined the programme at the age of three and a half.
Nived’s Progress and Development
Nived began with the early learner levels, which focused on developing his pencil control and mark-making skills. He learned to hold a pencil correctly, draw and join lines, and trace numbers. As he progressed, Nived was introduced to the Kumon Maths Programme, which was tailored to his individual pace, ensuring he was challenged yet comfortable with the material. Through consistent daily practice, Nived developed his skills and took ownership of his learning, not only in maths but also in his overall schoolwork.
Nived’s Achievements and Testimony
Now, at the age of 10, Nived has made significant progress and is currently studying advanced maths concepts, including four operations, algebraic expressions, and equations. He attributes his success to Kumon, stating, “Kumon has helped me enormously. I’ve developed the ability to answer questions confidently and quickly with great ease and understand the different learning methods used to answer questions in certain topics and apply those methods to my school studies.” Nived’s mother, Aiswarya, also reflects on her son’s progression, saying, “I firmly believe that Kumon really helped him ace his maths, especially in school! He is one of the top performing students in his class when it comes to maths.”
The Impact of Kumon on Nived’s Education
Kumon has not only improved Nived’s maths skills but also instilled in him a strong work ethic and discipline. Aiswarya notes, “Kumon has certainly instilled the importance of hard work and practice in him. I’m very proud of Nived’s achievements to date; as parents, we hope that the discipline and practice he has gained from Kumon study will help him when sitting his SATs and 11+ exams and beyond.” Nived’s Instructor, Sangeeta, has played a significant role in his journey, providing guidance and support throughout the years.
Nived’s Future Aspirations
With a strong foundation in maths and a growing passion for the subject, Nived looks forward to his future studies and career aspirations. He hopes to become a maths teacher one day, saying, “The skills that I have mastered at Kumon will stay with me and act as building blocks for future challenges I hope to take on. I look forward to continuing to learn new things as I tackle the remaining levels of the programme.” Nived’s story is a testament to the effectiveness of the Kumon programme in helping children develop a strong foundation in maths and a love for learning.
