Ojas, a talented young student from Edinburgh, has made remarkable progress in his maths journey with Kumon. At just eight years old, he has already reached Level J of the Kumon Maths Programme, which covers topics typically taught to 16-year-olds in the Scottish Higher syllabus. Ojas’s incredible achievement is a testament to his dedication, hard work, and the supportive learning environment provided by Kumon.

Ojas started his Kumon journey in 2019 at the Kumon Corstorphine Study Centre, where he was encouraged to build his study skills, confidence, and ability. With the help of his Instructor, Kanika Paterson, Ojas was able to work at his own pace and progress through the programme without being restricted by any syllabus. He has made consistent progress through regular practice, a fearless attitude, and an unstoppable determination.
Ojas’s mother, Meeta, has witnessed a significant improvement in her son’s maths skills and overall personality since joining Kumon. She attributes this to the programme’s ability to help children develop critical life skills such as time management, quick-thinking, and perseverance.
