Black Sheep Coffee Franchise Strengthens London Franchise Network with New Clapham Opening

Black Sheep Coffee Franchise Strengthens London Franchise Network with New Clapham Opening

Coffee chain  Black Sheep Coffee is continuing its rapid franchise-led expansion with the launch of a new location in Clapham, further strengthening its presence across the capital.

The new store, located on the bustling Clapham High Street in south-west London, is scheduled to open its doors on 11 June and will become the sixth Black Sheep Coffee site operated by franchise partners Imran Khan and Viru Prabha.

The latest opening represents another milestone in the pair’s successful partnership with the brand. Khan and Prabha made history as Black Sheep Coffee’s first franchisees in London when they opened a site in Fulham. Since then, they have steadily expanded their portfolio, focusing on high-footfall locations across south-west London.

Black Sheep Coffee Franchise Partners Target Further Growth

The Clapham opening is part of an ambitious growth strategy that will see the franchise partners continue investing in the capital over the coming years.

With six stores soon to be operating under their ownership, Khan and Prabha have revealed plans to add another five locations within the next five years. If achieved, the expansion would bring their total Black Sheep Coffee estate to 10 sites across London, underlining their confidence in both the brand and the continued demand for premium coffee experiences.

Their ongoing investment reflects the growing appeal of franchise ownership within the UK coffee sector, where established brands with strong customer recognition continue to attract experienced multi-unit operators.

Prime South London Location

The new Clapham store occupies a prominent double-fronted unit on one of south London’s busiest retail and hospitality destinations.

Covering approximately 1,600 square feet, the venue will be among the larger coffee shop spaces in the local area, providing ample seating for customers looking to work, socialise or enjoy food and drink throughout the day.

The site has been designed in keeping with Black Sheep Coffee’s distinctive aesthetic, featuring the brand’s signature graffiti-inspired artwork, contemporary interiors and vibrant atmosphere.

Its location on Clapham High Street places the business at the heart of a thriving commercial district popular with commuters, professionals, students and local residents.

Full Black Sheep Coffee Offering

Customers visiting the new store will have access to Black Sheep Coffee’s complete food and beverage menu.

The brand has built its reputation around serving speciality-grade Robusta coffee, positioning itself as an alternative to the Arabica-focused approach adopted by many competitors. Alongside its coffee range, customers can enjoy matcha beverages, iced drinks and seasonal specials.

The food menu includes Norwegian waffles, bakery products, sandwiches and all-day breakfast options, helping the brand capture trade throughout the day rather than relying solely on traditional morning coffee sales.

Franchise Model Driving Expansion

Black Sheep Coffee has increasingly relied on franchising to support its UK and international growth ambitions.

The Black Sheep Coffee franchise model has enabled the company to scale rapidly while partnering with experienced operators capable of identifying and developing strategic locations. Multi-unit franchisees such as Khan and Prabha have played an important role in the brand’s expansion strategy, helping to accelerate growth in key urban markets.

The opening of the Clapham location demonstrates the continued momentum behind the brand’s franchise programme and highlights the opportunities available to operators seeking to build substantial regional portfolios.

As consumer demand for premium coffee, flexible workspaces and all-day dining concepts continues to grow, Black Sheep Coffee Franchise appears well positioned to expand further across London and beyond through its franchise network.

With another flagship location about to open and additional sites already in the pipeline, the company’s footprint in the capital shows no signs of slowing down.
